Even though Harry Potter was written over 20 years ago, the series is more popular than ever today. You all have been loving my posts about Harry Potter wallpaper and dark academia outfits, so I decided to combine them and write about Harry Potter outfit ideas.

Now, unlike most of the posts I came across in my research, these outfits aren’t going to be blatantly Harry Potter. Instead, they’ll be subtle Harry Potter outfit ideas that you can actually wear in real life.

You might even be able to use pieces from your current wardrobe to make these Harry Potter outfits come to life.

I know many people don’t like Shein, but you really can’t beat the prices. I especially recommend shopping at Shein for academic skirts, sweater vests, and boots, especially combat boots or lace up boots.

H&M:

I typically shop at H&M for cardigans and sweaters, collared blouses, and fitted or oversized blazers.

Lastly, I like Nasty Gal for edgier pieces. I included some edgy outfits below. I shop at Nasty Gal for combat boots and chunky booties, edgy dresses, and fun pants.
