The Prettiest Thanksgiving Nail Colors

Nails

Thanksgiving is coming up so quickly and I’ve been spending a bit of time every day getting ready! I have a few cute (and warm!) outfits for the week of Thanksgiving and I’ve spent finding the yummiest Thanksgiving cookie recipes that I plan on making.

While I was in the planning stage, I found so many unique and gorgeous Thanksgiving nail colors that I just had to share. I love warm, neutral nails, and there are some lovely inspiration photos for the holiday!

Before we get to the inspiration photos I want to go over the difference between the top coats (because many of these images have matte top coats while others have shiny). If you already know which top coat you want to use, then scroll down and get straight to the inspo photos!

Base + Top Coats: Matte or Shiny?

Whether you’re using gel or regular nail polish, a base coat and top coat are both really important. They’ll determine not only how long your manicure lasts, but how shiny it is.

Some of the photos below showcase shiny nails while others are matte. Regardless, I’ve linked one gel color and one regular color for each. I recommend that you purchase a specific type of top coat depending on the level of shine that you’re looking for.

  • Gel Base
  • Regular Base
  • Gel Top Coat: Shiny
  • Regular Top Coat: Shiny
  • Gel Top Coat: Matte (cheaper option here)
  • Regular Top Coat: Matte

As far as gel polish, I really like Gellish: I find that it lasts way longer than other polish brands. If you’re looking for info on how to do a gel manicure at home for super cheap (while making sure it lasts for a while), check out my blog post here to see exactly what I use.
