If there’s a color that would best describe summer, it would be peach! The color of sunsets, my favorite summer cocktail, and sun-kissed skin. But while peach is a color associated with summer, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t wear this color all year round, especially on your nails.
So, how exactly can you flaunt peach nails?
There are numerous shades of peach to choose from. There are softer ones and there are flashy neon-like types. To know the shade for you, first determine your skin tone. Pale tones generally stick with muted or pastel shades, while those with warmer tones have the option to pick more vivid shades. If you’re tan or dark-skinned, any shade of peach can make your nails pop – making it a great accent to any look.
Regardless of your skin tone, peach is a great choice for three reasons:
- Peach reflects on your skin, making it look healthy and plump
- Peach acts as a natural blush for the hands
- Peach blends well with the skin
The fact that peach is close to nude makes it a versatile color to play with for all sorts of nail designs. To help you choose, we collected our favorite designs in this article.

Here are some of my favorite peach nail designs, but scroll ahead to check out the peach nails inspiration photos.
Plain Peach Nails With Accent
This design is one of my favorite go-to’s. When my nails are mostly covered in solid peach, I can notice how much is reflected on my skin – making it look healthy and plump. A patterned accent nail is enough for this minimalist design.
Peach Birthday Cake Nails
Looking for the best peach birthday nails? Peach is the best color to start with. With peach as your base, simply ‘sprinkle’ the top with colored confetti and seal off with a topcoat.
Sex-on-beach Cocktail Inspired Nails
One of my favorite cocktails is SOB, which contains peach, vodka, cranberry juice, and orange juice, giving it that nice ombre. You can achieve this look by having three colors of polishes on hand: red, orange, and yellow. You can also mix red and yellow to make orange if you don’t have orange on hand. The middle should appear the most ‘peachy’.
Peach Nail With Floral White Line Art
White flatters bright colors, giving it the ‘oomph’ that it needs to pop and to stand out. Instead of going for traditional floral designs with press-on nails, play with abstract elements and draw lines instead. It doesn’t have to look perfect.
Peach With Gold Streaks
You can make jewelry out of your nails, trust me! With gold foil or polish, smear it on plain peach nails. Be creative and don’t be afraid to make mistakes! This nail design particularly reminds me of Korean-style nails. It’s both dainty and classy — perfect for all skin types!
Peach French Tip Nails
Pair your peach eyeliner with this peach French tip design! I would suggest using neon shades for this one to make it “pop”, but it’s all up to your skin tone to determine the best pick. Would wear this for futuristic ‘60s looks!
Peach Nails With Peach Emoji Press-on Art
Want a simpler way to put peaches on your nails? There are a lot of press-on sets in the market. Personally, I would go with patterned peaches but there are also simpler designs that you can play with.
Peach Base With Aztec Prints In Black
A lot of people agree that peach is the younger and more playful version of the nude, which makes it a great candidate as a base for intricate designs like Aztec prints. Using black for the prints can make your nails look tattooed, but you can freely use white if it suits you better.
Peach Nails With Silver Studs
The best way I would apply silver charms on my nails is by minimizing its count to one per nail. I love how elegant and sophisticated this looks compared to filling it up excessively.
Neon Peach Nails
Going to a rave party? Neon peach nails are the answer! If you’re dark-skinned, all peach shades can pop and work well. If you have a pale and lighter skin tone, I suggest getting a particularly vivid neon shade.
Ombre Peach Nails
Timeless and ever-creative. Ombre nails paired with white polish can be paired with limitless summer outfits. From boho kimonos and maxi dresses, people can easily know you’re on vacation with this style. Love how it gives any outfit character!
Peach Nail Base With White French Tip
Feeling creative? Since peach is somehow a nude color, switching your usual nude base to peach is a unique way to flaunt this summer color! Use white for your tips as usual.
Pineapple Art on Peach Nails
Yellow is one of my favorite colors to pair with peach because it compliments the summer-y aura of this color. So, it’s not surprising how pineapples work well with a beach base! Would love to buy press-on nails for this one, but if you have access to a professional nail technician, hand-painted pineapples work too!
Abstract Art Nails
There are countless ways to draw a circle. And the perfect way to experiment with it is by painting them on your nails with a peach polish! Peach is not as vivid and solid as dark primary colors, so minimal mistakes are very much welcome!
Peach Nails With Marble Accent
Who’s quite not over with the marble nail trend? If you know the techniques, go ahead and dive into this design! With two more colors, you can create a nice and intricate marbled design. Ideally, you would want to pick a shade with higher contrast.
Color Block Nails
Color block is perfect for people who collect polishes or have tons of them unused at home. Usually, the best colors to pair with peach are muted colors or neon colors (depending on the shade). After you have picked your candidates, make a vertical half-and-half for each nail featuring peach and the colors of your choice.
Sunset Nails With Palm Tree Silhouettes
Ombre, but better! Sunset nails can pop with a little contrast. With black polish, recreate a silhouette of an afternoon scene at the beach. A palm tree, a seashell, or a crab, perhaps?
Peach Blush Nails
Want a subtle nail tint? Choose a peachy translucent polish! A peach translucent polish can look dainty, cute, and elegant — perfect for formal occasions and date nights! If you can’t specifically find peach translucent polish, go ahead and use your old peach polish and mix it with a regular shiny topcoat.
Peach Swirls Design (Y2K-inspired)
Retro, fun, and quirky. Peach swirls may not be the easiest to do, but it is worth it! I would suggest getting a proper nail technician to do this. If you do it alone, a little bit of practice needs to be done to perfect this design. The best colors to incorporate in this design are peach, yellow, and white.
What can go wrong with daisies? Plus, you can easily do it at home! With a few tools like a dotted tool or a narrow brush, you can achieve this dainty and subtle design.
Peach Polka Dots
Nothing can go wrong with polka dots! Aside from their jolly look, polka dots are easy to do at home. You can do this with a regular brush or a narrow brush (for smaller dots).
