The clue-givers on their team must try to guess what they’re acting out. They can give unlimited clues, but they can’t say any part of the word or phrase.

The team that guesses the most charades words in a set amount of time wins the game!

This is a fun twist on the classic game show, “Name That Tune.” To play, divide your group into teams of two or more people. Then, have each team choose one person to be their “tune master.” The tune master will be responsible for playing snippets of Christmas songs for their team to guess.

To prepare for the game, create a list of popular Christmas songs. You can use classic carols, holiday pop songs, or any other type of festive tunes. Then, create a way to play snippets of these songs for the game. This can be done using a stereo, a laptop, or even your smartphone.

This is one of our favorite office Christmas party games because it’s super fun and gives people a chance to get to know each other.

13. Secret Santa

Want to play a gift giving game in the office? Secret Santa is one of the best office Christmas party games start, especially with a close group. To play, each person should write their name on a slip of paper and put it into a hat.

Then, have everyone draw a name out of the hat. Whoever’s name they draw is the person they will be buying a secret Santa gift for! The only rule is that they can’t spend more than $5-10 on the gift.

Once everyone has their Secret Santa, they can start brainstorming what kind of gift to get for their co-worker. On the day of the party, everyone should bring their wrapped gift to work and put it under the tree.

At the end of the party, have everyone sit in a circle around the tree and take turns opening their gifts!

12. Santa Hat Game

A bunch of Santa hats makes a great office party game! As guests enter the party venue, pass out Santa hats to them. One person should be designated as the leader. Taking off and putting on the hat will be the responsibility of the leader.

Following the leader is the goal of the game. You must remove your hat if the leader does. The goal of the game is to remove your hat as soon as the leader does. The last person to wear a hat loses!

Consider having a penalty for the last person to wear a hat, such as singing a silly Christmas song. The game is more challenging if it is played while food and drinks are being served and conversations are going on.

11. Gift Wrap Game

This is one of those office Christmas party games that will have everyone laughing! The object of the game is to wrap a present using only one hand.

Divide the group into teams of two or more people. Give each team a wrapped present and a roll of wrapping paper. One person on each team will be the wrapper and the other(s) will be the helper(s). The wrapper must use only one hand to wrap the present. The helper(s) can use both hands. The first team to finish wrapping their presents wins the game!

10. Who Knows the Big Boss Best?

This is a fun game to get everyone in on! The object of the game is to see who knows the boss best. To play, have everyone write down their answer to each question on a piece of paper. Then, collect all of the papers and mix them up. The person who gets the most questions right wins the game! Here are some sample questions:

– What is your boss’s favorite color?

– What is your boss’s favorite food?

– What is your boss’s favorite hobby?

– Where did your boss go on their last vacation?

– How many siblings does your boss have?

This is one of our favorite office Christmas party games if you have a boss you really get along with!

9. Christmas Tree Decorating Contest

Have a contest to see who can decorate the best Christmas tree! This is one of the best office Christmas party games for teams.

Give each team a tree and let them decorate it however they want. Then, have everyone vote on which tree they think is the best. The team with the most votes wins the contest!

8. Christmas Carol Trivia

Test your knowledge of Christmas carols with this fun trivia game! To play, divide into teams and see who can answer the most questions correctly. Here are some sample questions:

– What are the first three words of “Silent Night”?

– How many reindeers does Santa have?

– What is the name of Rudolph’s father?

– In “The 12 Days of Christmas”, how many total gifts are given?

– Who sings the popular Christmas song, “All I Want for Christmas is You”?

This is one of our favorite office Christmas party games for folks who don’t know each other that well because it’s low stress.

7. Alphabet Game

This is a great game for the office! The object of the game is to see who can find the most Christmas-related words that start with each letter of the alphabet. Give everyone a piece of paper and a pen. They should write down as many Christmas-related words as they can think of that start with each letter of the alphabet. The person with the most words at the end of the game wins!

6. Who’s the Employee?

Looking for work Christmas party games that bring employees closer? This is probably a good pick.

In this game, everyone tries to guess which co-worker is being described. To play, have each person write down the name of a co-worker on a slip of paper. Then, collect all of the slips of paper and mix them up. Next, read out each description one by one and see who can guess who is being described! Here are some sample descriptions:

– This person always has a coffee in their hand.

– This person is the office gossip.

– This person is always early to work.

– This person is always working late.

– This person is always taking sick days.

This is one of our favorite office Christmas party games if you want to get your coworkers! However, try to keep things light and positive as much as possible.

5. How Many Ornaments?

In this game, everyone tries to guess how many ornaments are on the Christmas tree. To play, simply count the number of ornaments on the tree and write it down. Then, have everyone guess how many ornaments are on the tree. The person who guesses closest to the correct number wins the game!

4. White Elephant Gift Exchange

A white elephant gift exchange is a popular Christmas party game! The object of the game is to end up with the best “white elephant” gift. To play, have everyone bring a wrapped gift to the party. Gifts can be new or used, but should be something that someone would actually want. The gifts are then placed in a central location.

To start the game, each person takes turns picking a gift from the pile. They can either unwrap the gift and keep it, or trade it for another unwrapped gift. The goal is to end up with the best gift at the end of the game!

3. What’s in the Bag?

This is a great game for groups! The object of the game is to guess what is in the bag. To play, collect a bunch of small items and place them in bags. Make sure that each bag has a different combination of items. Then, have each person take turns picking a bag and trying to guess what is inside. The person who guesses the most items correctly wins the game!

2. Two Truths And A Lie

This is a great icebreaker game! The object of the game is to see who can guess which statements are true and which statement is a lie. To play, have each person write down three statements about themselves on a piece of paper. Two of the statements should be true and one should be a lie.

Then, have everyone take turns reading their statements out loud and let the others try to guess which one is the lie. The person who guesses the most lies correctly wins the game! This is one of our favorite office Christmas party games because just about everyone knows how to play.

This is a great game for groups! The object of the game is to see who can rip down the most Christmas tree decorations. To play, have each person be blindfolded and then give them a stack of Christmas tree decorations. They should then try to rip down as many decorations as they can in one minute. The person with the most ripped-down decorations wins the game!
