These last few snowstorms have been pretty brutal, but the silver lining is that I’ve been able to wear some of the coats I recently got! This red J. Crew Peacoat is definitely one of my favorites. It’s lightweight but wool so it’s super warm, and is a fiery red that goes nicely with either black or brown.
I’ve had a few people ask me about my outfit details from my trip to the Kimpton Taconic in Manchester VT, so here they are! This is one of my favorite cozy but still trendy outfits for the winter season. The coat is super preppy and loose enough to layer some serious sweaters underneath, but the over the knee boots add an edgy vibe.
You’ll notice that I wear these Old Navy jeans a lot (I actually learned about these from Rachel Parcell). I’ve never worn a pair of jeans more comfortable! They also hold their shape really well all day.
Jacket: J. Crew | Sweater: Calvin Klein | Jeans: Old Navy | Boots: Style & Co. | Purse: Tory Burch | Sunglasses: H&M
The joke’s on me – I thought this would be the last time wearing this outfit, but it’s March 13th and we’re in the middle of another blizzard. I might be able to get a few more wears out of it!
